Hello My name is Siva. I am currently serving as a Senior Engineering Leader for a Custom Data Platform Product at Bloomberg. In this role, I am responsible for managing multiple engineering leaders and an amazing set of 20+ engineers, spread between NY and SF regions. I have 15+ years of software development experience, mostly geared around building APIs, Services and Highly Performant and Scalable Infrastructure in the Financial Data and Analytics domain. I have experience boot strapping a team from scratch and have been in the leadership and management space for about 5 years now. I am particularly passionate about coaching, mentoring, developing leaders and growing the organization. As a senior leader, I put my focus on developing and communicating a clear strategic roadmap, reducing operational inefficiencies, effective stakeholder management and establishing a culture of trust and high performance. I am excited to be joining mentoring club and share my experience and core values, through mentorship, to all the aspiring engineering leaders and entrepreneurs.
