Hi there, I am Roberto. I currently work as Project Manager in the Automotive Industry, in the product development of ECUs. I can look back at more than 16 years in both automotive and consumer goods industry, holding different positions such as hardware engineer, Technical project leader, HW Electronics team leader and project manager. I've had the chance to gain wide experience and knowledge in the fields of product development, from the design until the deployment to series. . During my experience in different global companies, such as Electrolux, Bosch and Marelli, I had the opportunity to work with several cultures and countries and develop intercultural awareness, managing successful product launches worldwide: induction cooktops, electric ovens, touchscreens, IoT devices, sensor devices for the autonomous driving and ECU for headlamps, often with cutting edge technologies . I had the honour to lead technical and cross-functional teams and the proud to see millions of products successfully launched and sold to the global market. I am open to support junior PMs and small and medium-sized companies in establishing project management processes and best practices, help to overcome the cultural challenges of distributed businesses and to build a PM culture in growing businesses. Sharing of experience and be of support for peers who face some of these challenges for the first time is what motivates me the most, it is of great help when it comes to practical situations that are not described in any manual.
