This realisation came by when I started peer tutoring and peer mentoring at High School, networking across schools locally and abroad. It became more prevalent during my time at IBlieve, but more on that later. This realisation ignited my passion to create bridges that connect and empower learners everywhere. 🌉 I'm thrilled to share my passion and expertise in Public Speaking, Event Hosting, and Organising. One of my notable experiences includes hosting an exclusive Fireside Chat with Mr. Jeff Smith - a distinguished Advisor and Board Member at Tech Mahindra. This engaging event, titled "Leadership: Listening & Learning from Others," was a remarkable opportunity where I also took on the role of a co-moderator. It was an enriching experience that allowed me to delve into the nuances of effective leadership and the art of listening. 🎙️🔥 Moreover, I take immense pride in my involvement as a TEDx Event Organizer. I have successfully organized three editions of TEDxYouth events, with one where I stepped up as the Executive Producer. The journey through these events has been exhilarating, filled with learning and growth. Each event has been a unique platform for ideas and inspiration, showcasing the power of shared knowledge and community engagement in both, Virtual and In-person Structures.🌟🎤 Currently, I'm gearing up for an exciting TEDxUniversity event, TEDxMahindraUniversity, wherein I am taking the role of a Co-organizer. This upcoming event promises to be a dynamic and thought-provoking experience, bringing together minds from various fields to explore and exchange groundbreaking ideas, more on this soon! 🧠💡 As a former Events Team Lead at IBlieve which was co-founded by an Oxford University'22 and Cornell University'22 student is an education nonprofit that provides free IB resources, reaching over 90,000+ high school students in a year. It was created by top-scoring IB graduates around the world with our mission being to increase access to quality education. Since July 2020, our team has grown to 115+ members and articles have reached a global viewership of 600,000+ across 160 countries in addition to boasting Official Partnerships with the International Baccalaureate Organisation (IBO) and the Yale Young Global Scholars (YYGS) at Yale University. In my role, I spearheaded an International Team remotely comprising of 8+ Nationalities and 5+ Countries, some of the most talented students I’ve ever stumbled across, to develop an array of virtual events, workshops, and webinars, designed to enrich the academic journey of IB Diploma Program students worldwide. This role not only polished my organizational prowess but also deepened my insight into the multifaceted challenges within the educational landscape. As a top-scoring IB Diploma Graduate, I have also participated in Focus-Groups, interacting directly with the Subject Curriculum Development Leads at the International Baccalaureate (IBO) for Mathematics: Applications and Interpretations, Psychology and CAS - providing my insights into developing the next generation of the Diploma Program's International Curricula 🎓💡 I had an insightful Gap Year after Graduating with a 40/45 in the May 2021 Examination Session for the IB Diploma as my Gap Year concluded in June 2022, where I delved into various subjects and developing soft skills to propel myself further all while networking and building my circle of mentors and advisors who have worked at LinkedIn, PayPal, Google, The Adecco Group, Larsen & Toubro and upperclassmen from Stanford University, Cornell University amongst other top schools globally. I found my true calling in Economics and Finance, transitioning from Architecture. This decision was influenced by my strong performance in Business Management Higher Level and Mathematics Applications and Interpretations with a Level 7 each in the IB Diploma with a Grade A in my Business Management Extended Essay. It’s also here which further strengthened and indoctrinated my interest in Research due to the nature of the IB Diploma Program and its challenging coursework which emphasised on Critical Thinking, Real-world Case Analysis and Data Analysis as a fundamental basis for conducting empirical-based Research. 📈📊 My Undergraduate Studies in Economics and Finance have since opened doors to fascinating realms like Behavioural Economics, Econometrics, and International Relations as concentrations I'd love to explore and pursue further. With aspirations to pursue a PhD in Economics or Business Economics, I am particularly drawn to specialising in Behavioural Economics and Econometrics. I already hold a Certification from Harvard Business School Online in Management Essentials which you can Verify here, being on a pathway of obtaining a Specialisation in Leadership and Management which I intend on completing by August 2024. I am also currently working on two Research Papers, co-authoring one of them with a faculty in my Economics department. 🏛️🔍 Language learning has been a window to cultures and connections for me. Beginning with an exposure to Spanish in Delhi during my Primary Years of Schooling and continuing in Mumbai where I spent a majority of my youth, I have embraced multiple languages - English, Hindi, Bengali, Spanish, French, Italian, and German. Each language has been a key in unlocking new perspectives and forging deeper connections; I currently hold varying degrees of proficiencies in them which I intend on improving consistently. It's something I am also continuously leveraging to build connections with people in a globally connected hybrid world. 🌐💬 Here at "Akshin Byapari Inc.", a Personal Venture, I intend on leveraging my rich tapestry of experiences to guide and empower others on their educational and personal development journeys - in hope to take you forward where you aspire to be.
