Hi, I'm Ruxandra, a foodie and "people nerd" based in Amsterdam!
I'm a huge believer of the saying "Be the architect of your life's experience, not a manager of circumstance" and I live by it in every way I can. This is the perspective I bring into my coaching and mentoring role. I believe we all posses everything we need to succeed within ourselves and, with a little help, we can find our way to the life we envision. We are not victims of a life happening to us, we are here to design the life (and career) that energizes us.
On the coaching side, I love helping people get unblocked and solve their problems with insightful questions! I'm here to listen and help you answer your own questions. When you have "light-bulb moments", that's extremely rewarding for me!
On the mentoring side, here are my "specs":
I have 14+ years of experience in Software Engineering cultures, changing roles from deep technical individual contributor positions, to process and people oriented roles, in multicultural companies and highly complex technical environments.
I started off as a QA Engineer and perfected that career to a point where "people" became a more interesting challenge for me than finding bugs. I still mentor and consult on QA specific subjects, but organizational dynamics, engineering cultures and career development are my main "lane".
