I am passionate about product design, enthusiastic about creative problem solving and always looking for projects focused on helping people. My engineering masters at University of Cambridge armed me with a technical confidence when approaching engineering challenges, but my personal passion and curiosity were eager for opportunities for application in the real world. My career since has been at a product development consultancy, working as an electronics engineer and project manager has allowed me to work on all stages of product design, from an initial opportunity identification, through to launch into mass manufacture. I'm interested in mentoring as I get great satisfaction from working with other dedicated people; I have found that the key to effective learning revolves around asking the correct question to the correct person at the correct time. This is a similar approach that I take to project management; the goal is to utilise the collective knowledge and skill of the team around you to deliver the best outcome. Fundamentally, I enjoy working with people to solve problems, and I relish seeing an idea turned into a physical reality and having a positive impact out in the world.
