"I am very pleased with my experience so far with Aqsa as a mentor. She has offered very helpful advice and exercises that have helped me collect my thoughts and refine my career goals. I am thankful for her holding me accountable to the things I said I would do. I've had many outstanding items on the to-do list that I viewed as difficult/daunting tasks, such as traveling to conferences and meeting people online, but they'd ultimately help me get closer to my goals. Happy to say I've finally crossed off many of those items off my list. Aqsa has also connected me with people from companies that I wanted to learn more about, pushed me to be more introspective and question my own opinions/beliefs, and provided excellent book recommendations based on my needs. I've only had 3 sessions with Aqsa thus far but I can say that I've already had a significant shift in my mindset and outlook on life, and I hope it will continue this way. Expect to meet every 2-3 weeks for ~45 minutes per session. You will need the time in between sessions to complete "homework assignments," which are action items that Aqsa will assign to you as you share your needs."
