Prince Rurangwa

Prince is a Software Developer Trainee and Volunteer Mentor at The Gym Rwanda. He is passionate about technology with expertise in web development, mobile apps, and machine learning, and is pursuing his Bachelor’s in Software Engineering at the African Leadership University.
He has mentored peers, contributed to hackathons, and built end-to-end projects using React, React Native, Node.js, and TensorFlow/Keras. A self-motivated learner, Prince has explored both technical and entrepreneurial projects, reflecting his drive to use software for solving real-world challenges.
He understands the struggles that beginners face in breaking into tech, and is therefore committed to mentorship, inclusion, and empowering others to grow as developers.
