With over a decade in software engineering and creative technology, I’m passionate about helping others navigate the intersections of tech, design, and innovation. My career is rooted in R&D and technology for the common good, from new product development at BBC R&D to advancing sustainable solutions in EU Horizon initiatives. Currently, I head up UX Engineering in the Research Unit of the UK's AI Safety Institute, sharing in its mission to test the safety of advanced AI and to measure its impacts on people and society. I bring technical expertise, human-centred design, agile practices, and a commitment to continuous learning. I'm excited to supporting mentees interested in creative tech, design thinking, and impactful innovation in software engineering.
