Hi! I'm Giulia, originally from Italy, based in Berlin for the last 6 years. Nice to meet you all!
I'm a sales leader and a mother and, most importantly, a mentor for 2 organizations. I started mentoring people 3 years ago when I went through a difficult professional period myself and I witnessed so many great women in a similar situation as mine struggle with self-esteem, to speak-up, to fight to validate their competence and grow their career. I felt I had to do something about it and I first started to mentor some of my more junior coworkers, then I joined several mentoring associations outside of my company. I can't be happier about my choice! Every time I end a mentoring call I feel so fulfilled, so full of energy, for having been able to guide another person through a hard phase or an intricated dilemma, for having contributed even only for a tiny bit to their happiness!
I would now love to continue and expand my mentoring journey by joining this community, which I heard great things about from another woman-mentor I esteem a lot.
