Getting started takes less than 2 minutes. You can sign up with Google or use email/password.
Quick Registration:
- 1 Go to mentoring-club.com/login
- 2 Click "Sign up" or "Continue with Google" (recommended for speed)
- 3 Select "I want to find a Mentor" (you can switch to mentor later if you wish)
- 4 Add a few details about yourself and your goals
Pro Tip
Filling out your profile (bio, goals, areas of interest) helps mentors understand how they can best support you. A complete profile also gets better search recommendations!

Book Your First Session
Once you've found a mentor, booking a session is straightforward. Most mentors respond within 24 hours.
Booking Process:
- 1 Visit Mentor's Profile: Click on their name/card to view full profile
- 2 Choose a Session Type: Select from their available offerings (e.g., "Career Strategy Session")
- 3 Pick Date & Time: Browse their calendar and select an available slot (shown in your timezone)
- 4 Add Session Details: Write a brief note about what you'd like to discuss
- 5 Complete Payment: If it's a paid session, enter payment details (PayPal, card, etc.)
- 6 Receive Confirmation: You'll get an email confirmation and calendar invite
Payment Options
We support multiple payment methods for your convenience:
- PayPal (recommended)
- Credit/Debit Card
- Company/Professional billing (if applicable)
- Pro-bono/Free sessions (no payment required)

Cancellation Policy
You can cancel or reschedule sessions up to 24 hours before the scheduled time for a full refund. Be respectful of your mentor's time!
Attend & Make the Most of Your Session
The day of your session, you'll find the video call link in your dashboard. Here's how to prepare and succeed:
Before Your Session:
Prepare Questions
Write down 3-5 specific questions or topics you want to cover. Share these with your mentor via chat beforehand.
Test Your Tech
Check your camera, microphone, and internet connection 10 minutes early. Use a quiet, well-lit space.
Review Their Profile
Re-read your mentor's bio and expertise to maximize the relevance of your conversation.
Have Pen & Paper Ready
Take notes during the session. You can also use our in-platform note-taking feature.
Joining the Video Call:
- 1. Go to My Account → Sessions
- 2. Find your upcoming session and click "Join Video Call"
- 3. Allow browser permissions for camera and microphone (first time only)
- 4. Wait for your mentor to join (they'll typically arrive on time or early)
During the Session:
- Be present and engaged: Turn on your camera and minimize distractions
- Ask follow-up questions: Dig deeper when something resonates
- Take notes: Capture key insights and action items
- Be honest and vulnerable: Share your real challenges—mentors want to help
- End with action items: What will you do differently after this conversation?

Leave Helpful Feedback
After your session, you'll be prompted to leave a review. This helps your mentor improve and helps other mentees make informed decisions.
What to Include in Your Review:
- Star Rating (1-5): Rate the overall quality of the session
- Written Feedback: Share specific insights you gained or actions you'll take
- Mentor Strengths: What did they do particularly well?
- Who Should Book Them: What type of mentee would benefit most?
Why Reviews Matter
Your review helps mentors build their reputation and earn more bookings. Be honest, constructive, and specific. Mentors with 5+ reviews get 3x more bookings!
You can also leave private feedback just for the mentor if you have constructive suggestions.
